CIVCO names sales execs for radiation oncology sector
CIVCO Medical Solutions has appointed Ken Newby, ARRT, CNMT, as eastern regional sales director for radiation oncology, responsible for the management of CIVCO’s eastern division of U.S. sales territories.
Newby brings 25 years of sales, management and technical experience to the position, said CIVCO. Most recently, he spent 10 years in sales specialist and territory manager roles at Philips Healthcare and ADAC Laboratories. Prior to his work with Philips and ADAC, Newby was with ER Squibb for 11 years, moving from sales representative to national account management and finally to region sales manager.
Additionally, the Kalona, Iowa-based company has appointed David McPhail as vice president of sales for radiation oncology in the United States.
McPhail comes to CIVCO with nearly 16 years of industry experience, most recently as vice president of sales, North America at Philips Healthcare. At Philips, McPhail also served as national sales manager and vice president of strategic accounts. Prior to his tenure at Philips, McPhail held various management positions with ADAC Laboratories, Gentinge/Castle and Tyco International, CIVCO said.
CIVCO also named Joos Wisse as director of European sales for radiation oncology. Wisse will be responsible for the management of CIVCO’s European division, headquartered in Reeuwijk, The Netherlands, the company said.
Wisse brings to CIVCO a clinical and corporate background. He most recently was an area sales manager for IBA Dosimetry, primarily overseeing business for the Mediterranean countries. Previously, Wisse worked with Cablon Medical as a business unit manager and as a product specialist for radiotherapy, CIVCO said.
