The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) last week named Andrew Whitman as vice president of medical products. Whitman comes to NEMA from Carmen Group Inc., a government relations firm in Washington, D.C., where he served as the senior associate for healthcare practice representing healthcare providers on Capitol Hill and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Whitman will replace Robert Britain, who is retiring after 21 years of service.
