OrthoView demonstrated its upgraded web-deployed version 5.2 software, an improved version of its orthopedic digital planning and templating software, at the recent 2008 RSNA conference in Chicago.

OrthoView 5.2 is available via PACS providers and offers a quicker start up time and an improved integration as well as added clinical features and additional template-handling capabilities, the company said.

OrthoView 5.2 contains a number of new clinical features in addition to improving overall performance that include new tools for the Spine module such as the Nash Moe Grading Guide; Thoracic Trunk Shift Wizard; a combined Pelvic Incidence, Sacral Slope and Pelvic Tilt Wizard, according to OrthoView.
