Eklin Medical Systems, a leading developer of DR, PACS and practice management software (VIA) for veterinary care practices, has appointed Robert Royea as vice president of worldwide sales.

Royea has held senior executive positions with medical device and PACS companies including Acuson, Agfa HealthCare and Siemens Medical Systems, and has overseen the implementation of complex business models such as hospital, computer and radiology systems and PACS, the Santa Clara, Calif.-based Elkin said.
