Ziosoft, an advanced visualization and analysis software company for medical imaging, is now offering its thin-client based Ziostation for the U.S. market.   

The Ziostation provides a suite of advanced 3D analysis tools and is based on thin-client architecture, requiring no proprietary or specialized hardware components. The Redwood, Calif.-based company said it does not necessitate a separate standalone workstation to supplement its functionality.  

Features of the Ziostation include: scalable, unified architecture including the ability to load-balance case processing; new toolset including vessel/coronary analysis, multi-volume fusion and anatomy-specific automatic segmentation; and customizable user interface and action macros.
