Stereotaxis books triple-digit revenue increase
Interventional device developer Stereotaxis of St. Louis reported record revenue for its fiscal 2007 second quarter (end-June 30) -- posting triple-digit growth over the corresponding period in fiscal 2006.

Revenue for the second quarter increased 105 percent to $7.8 million, compared with $3.8 million in revenue in the second quarter of 2006.

The company reported a net loss for the second quarter of 2007 of $15 million, an increase compared with a net loss of $13.6 million in the second quarter of 2006.

For the first six months of 2007, revenue totaled $17 million compared with revenue of $5.5 million for the first six months of 2006. Stereotaxis reported a net loss of $25.5 million through the recent first six month period versus a net loss of $28.2 million for the first six months of 2006.
