Affiliated Computer Services (ACS) and Ingenix have formed a strategic alliance to provide Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS) decision support solutions to state governments.

Under the terms of the agreement, the Dallas-based ACS said it will work with Ingenix to supply decision support solutions for ACS' state MMIS initiatives. ACS said it will license its portfolio of federally certified decision support technologies to the Minneapolis-based Ingenix, which will provide ACS' MMIS clients with its decision support methodologies, software applications and related consulting services.

Impact Pro for Care Management is Ingenix' platform for helping state Medicaid programs identify and manage chronic and acute health conditions, ACS said.
