Allscripts posts record Q2
Healthcare information technology developer Allscripts reported record revenues and earnings for its fiscal 2007 second quarter (end-June 30).
Total revenue for the period was $70 million, demonstrating robust growth when compared with fiscal 2006 second quarter revenues of $60 million. Net income for the second quarter of fiscal 2007 was $6.0 million, compared with net income of $2.8 million for the same period last year.
Total revenue for the first half of the fiscal year was $135.1 million, compared with $102.2 million in revenue booked for the same period in fiscal 2006. Net income for the first two quarters was $10.5 million, compared with net income of $4.2 million for the first half of fiscal 2006.
