Amicas, McClennen part ways
On Tuesday, Amicas, a Boston-based web-based PACS provider, notified Peter McClennen, its president and chief operating officer, that his employment agreement, dated March 28, 2005, would not be renewed, according to the Form 8-K filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
McClennen’s employment with Amicas will cease as of Dec. 31.
According to an Amicas spokesperson, “Steve Kahane, our CEO for over three years, will be assuming all day-to-day operational responsibility for running Amicas to help us realize those goals. Fundamentally, nothing has changed. We truly believe in the direction and strategy in place at Amicas and we are excited to continue our quest to become the best independent imaging IT provider in the marketplace.”
