ARINC and Cistera Networks have integrated the Cistera Digital LMR (Land Mobile Radio) Recording Solution with Cisco's Internet Protocol Interoperability and Collaboration System (IPICS).

The integrated solution creates a bridge between today’s incompatible voice and data systems—such as Land Mobile Radios, PBXs, PSTN telephones, cellular phones, digital wireless, and voice over internet protocol (VoIP) systems. It can improve interoperable communications between law enforcement, public safety, emergency response and local government radio systems, according to both companies.
