athenahealth prices initial public offering
The Watertown, Mass.-based athenahealth, a provider of medical billing, practice management and EMR services, has announced the pricing of its initial public offering of 6,286,819 shares of its common stock at a price to the public of $18.00 per share.
The 6,286,819 shares to be sold in the offering consist of 5 million shares to be sold by athenahealth and 1,286,819 shares to be sold by certain stockholders.
The shares will be traded on the NASDAQ Global Market, under the trading symbol ATHN.
Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch will act as joint book runners for the offering, while Piper Jaffray and Jefferies will act as co-managers.
