Green Bay, Wis.-based Bellin Health upgraded two of its Toshiba America Medical Systems’ CT scanners with technology designed to reduce dose and increase workflow.

Bellin Health Hospital’s Aquilion ONE CT was upgraded with AIDR 3D, Toshiba’s adaptive iterative dose reconstruction technology, which enables triple rule out exams, brain perfusion and general cardiac studies with lower dose.

At the provider’s critical access facility in Oconto, Wis., the VeloCT console was added to an Aquilion 32 scanner, which enables 64 detector row acquisition and 128-slice capabilities.
