MRI computer-aided detection (CAD) developer CAD Sciences has released a suite of proprietary and organ-customized motion correction (MC) algorithms for its products, according to the White Plains, N.Y.-based firm. The MC suite is optimized for specific scanning applications which include, among others, breast MRI, prostate MRI, lung CT and lung MRI, the company said.

MC suite, consisting of the Linear MC, Flex MC, and Flow MC algorithms, offers tools that are optimized and separately applicable to scanning situations within the same organ or disease, CAD Sciences said. These include fat-sat and non fat-sat breast MRI, prostate MRI, lung imaging and other time-sensitive workflow situations.
