DR Systems will announce that it has received a Canadian medical device license for its Unity RIS/PACS, and will spotlight its Unity Release 8.2 software, during the 2009 International MUSE conference next week in Vancouver, British Columbia.

The Canadian medical device license was received for the Unity RIS/PACS from Health Canada. The new software contains features that include: access via enterprise-based and physician office EMRs; CS Series Workstation; multiple volume support; and improved Sentinel remote monitoring capabilities, the San Diego-based company said.
