Cardinal Health launched its national, searchable online database of positron emission tomography (PET) and PET/computed tomography (PET/CT) imaging centers. The organization has established the database to provide information about physicians and patients to locate PET and PET/CT imaging centers nearby.

The site, www.PETFoundations.com, enables referring physicians, patients and family members to conduct comprehensive local, regional and national (United States-based) searches for PET and PET/CT imaging centers – using zip code and geographic radius tools. The online PET locator also provides maps and directions to these facilities. Access is free, and lists PET and PET/CT sites regardless of whether they are Cardinal Health affiliates.
