Carestream lands UK DRX-1 install
The Countess of Chester hospital in Chester, England, said it has recently deployed a Carestream Health's DRX-1 wireless direct radiography (DR) system.
The facility is a 580-bed National Health Service (NHS) Foundation Trust hospital that sees more than 400,000 patients a year. The radiology department has already deployed a Carestream DR9500 and DR7500 system, which it said has cut x-ray throughput to about 10 minutes, according to the Rochester, N.Y.-based Carestream.
