Compressus Inc., makers of the MEDxConnect technology for seamless connectivity and interoperability between diagnostic acquisition devices, PACS, HIS, RIS, and related information systems, used the SIIM meeting in Providence to announce a new stand-alone version of the Systems Management Dashboard (SMD) that can run on virtually any system.
 
The Systems Management Dashboard enables the proactive management of an efficient healthcare enterprise through software that provides enterprise-wide monitoring, analysis, summarized graphic and tabular viewing, detailed data and alarm notices for medical imaging activities. It shows administrators fast, easy-to-assimilate problem-solving data for management of the enterprise.

The SMD provides an overview to monitor enterprise activities and assists in identifying inefficiencies or bottlenecks. A powerful tool that makes it quick and easy for an administrator to view and assimilate the information to analyze workflow efficiency and make the appropriate changes, the SMD also provides alarms for customer-set performance thresholds. The stand-alone OEM SMD utilizes an API to interface OEM customer’s servers and includes a developer’s toolkit and OEM documentation that permits customers to quickly and easily interface the SMD. This will permit medical systems suppliers to offer enterprise efficient monitoring and alarms using their own servers and databases.
