Daylight Solutions, a manufacturer of molecular detection and imaging solutions, has successfully closed a $5 million Series B financing round.

The funding will help to ensure that the company will have the resources necessary to respond to expanding opportunities from its customer base, said Paul Larson, president and COO.

The company recently introduced a broadly tunable, mode-hop free laser source for use in high resolution spectroscopy.
