DeJarnette releases MDCT workflow study
DeJarnette Research Systems Inc. has released a CT workflow white paper that addresses the issues associated with new high-speed multi-detector CT (MDCT) scanners in a PACS environment.

The free 18 page white paper can be obtained at the DeJarnette website www.dejarnette.com/ctworkflow.htm.  Part of the white paper is an analysis of the cost of operational inefficiency associated with current MDCT operations in a PACS environment.

The authors of the white paper relied on data obtained from five clinical sites which have been early adopters of the company's dyseCT workflow engine technology:
  • Akron General Medical Center
  • UCLA Medical Center
  • SUNY Upstate Medical Center
  • Yale-New Haven Hospital
  • Maryland General Hospital
