E-Z-EM inks group purchase deal with Amerinet
E-Z-EM yesterday announced that Amerinet, a large group purchasing organization, has inked a nonexclusive purchasing agreement for its Empower line of CT injector systems. Through the three-year deal the Empower products will be provided to Amerinet's more than 2,100 hospital members with preferred contract pricing.
The Empower product line is powered by the IRiSCT Injector Reporting Information System, a software application that automatically captures operational data from several important functions of the injector. When used to network all injector systems in a facility, IRiSCT helps consolidate data from an entire radiology department. Thus, quantitative analysis is possible and budgets can be simplified, while allowing busy administrators to focus on other critical management tasks, E-Z-EM said.
Empower injectors also are available with patented EDA technology that can help detect contrast extravasation.
