The company is emphasizing the importance of maintaining a highly-available and secure information infrastructure where PACS, EMR/EHR, imaging informatics, and CPOE applications are deployed and integrated with clinical practice.

Moreover, the company emphasized the importance of business continuity in radiology informatics, and the need to maintain solid back up, recovery, archive, and disaster recovery systems and strategies.  EMC said that it offers a complete and intelligent recovery portfolio for healthcare, and also has undergone integrations with most leading PACS vendors in the radiology space.
