The U.S. FDA has granted 510(k) clearance for Biospace med to market EOS, a new digital x-ray system for 2D imaging, in the United States.

EOS 2D allows images to be obtained with a low dose of radiation, and is capable of long- length digital imaging, permitting a full-body scan, according to the Altanta-based Biospace med.
