FDA clears MyLab Gamma ultrasound system

Esaote North America’s portable MyLab Gamma ultrasound system has received 510(k) clearance from the FDA and is now available in the U.S.

MyLab Gamma is laptop-sized and lightweight. It supports comprehensive cardiac and vascular exams such as TEE, strain, stress echo and other quantitative studies, according to Esaote. It also has 3D/4D capability and can be utilized in women’s health, general imaging and non-traditional point-of-care applications.
