FIMI Philips showcased its wide range of LUXOR displays at RSNA, some of which are being given a new sleeker design, including a 3MP grayscale display medical grade monitor called the X3M. The new look model will be available in Q1 2007, and offers compatibility with DICOM 3.14 standards, and includes a 10 bit look up table, as well as SmartEye – a front sensor for user calibration, and MediQA – an optional DICOM conformance check and QA application.

The company offers an assortment of the gray displays for diverse uses for either modalities or PACS usage. The same is true for its latest color displays, to be available in Q1 of next year, designed for applications such as patient information systems, endoscopy, multi-modality, and PACS uses.
