Fla. hospital unveils hybrid cardio suite
Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children in Orlando, Fla., has installed Toshiba’s InfinixTM CF-i bi-plane x-ray system along with Toshiba’s CAT-880B catheterization table in the hospital’s new hybrid suite.
The Infinix-i C-arm system includes five axis positions which, in combination with the tilting and cradling features of the CAT-880 catheterization table, offer expanded patient access, including 180 degrees around the head of the table, said Toshiba America Medical Systems. The Infinix-i’s flexibility enables 3D acquisition and reconstruction of vessels to assist in pre-intervention planning, the Tustin, Calif.-based company added.
