Healthcare benefits management organization Magellan Health Services has appointed William Forrest to its board of directors. The appointment increases the size of the of Avon, Conn.-based Magellan’s board to 10 members.

Forrest is the chairman of Cosi, a national restaurant chain headquartered in Deerfield, Ill. Prior to joining Cosi, he was a managing director with the international investment bank, Gleacher Partners.

Forrest’s initial term on the will expire at the 2008 annual meeting of shareholders.
