Franklin & Seidelmann Subspecialty Radiology has sealed a new partnership with Apex Radiology, a provider of general and night time teleradiology services. This new agreement has been made to broaden F&S’s offerings for imaging centers, hospitals. As part of the deal, subspecialty reads will be done through the F&S network and general radiology interpretations through Apex Radiology. Specifically, F&S will utilize Apex to provide general and night time radiology interpretations from modalities such as x-ray, ultrasound, and CT for some of its clients. Additionally, F&S will provide subspecialty expertise for some Apex radiology clients. According to the companies, the new relationship will be seamless to customers. The companies’ teleradiology platforms will be integrated fully by Jan. 1, 2007.
