CHICAGO, Nov. 29 – Empiric Systems, a web-based healthcare information system company, has formed a joint reseller partnership with Fujifilm Medical Systems USA that will leverage their respective product offerings in web-based radiology PACS and web-based RIS, which was announced at the 93rd annual meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA).

The Morrisville, N.C.-based Empiric said Fujifilm will offer and support a single RIS/PACS that combines both applications under a single sign-on and single graphical user interface for the radiologist and clinician.
 
The companies will be specifically combining Fujiilm’s Synapse PACS and Empiric’s Encompass.NET RIS, according to Fujifilm.
