Fujifilm Medical Systems USA and Longs Drugs have joined efforts to promote Breast Cancer Awareness throughout October in more than 470 Longs Drugs in California, Hawaii and Nevada.
Fujifilm launched the campaign at the annual Longs Drugs LPGA Golf Tournament in Danville, California earlier this month. Approximately 60,000 people attended the Longs Drugs Challenge.
Fujifilm created the program to raise awareness of the life-saving importance of mammography to detect breast cancer. It supports the National Breast Cancer Foundation’s mission to save lives through breast cancer education and programs that provide for the screening of underserved women.
