FujiFilm scores three-year film, imager deal with Premier
FujiFilm Medical Systems USA has been awarded a new, three-year, dual-source contract by Premier Purchasing Partners for an assortment of medical film, including conventional wet film, mammography film and dry film, along with its line of laser imagers.

Effective Sept. 1, the deal combines two contract categories previously held by Fujifilm into one category. Premier has merged the conventional, or wet imaging products contract with the dry, or laser imaging products, enabling its 2,000 U.S. hospitals and 53,000-plus other member sites to access FujiFilm products, according to the Stamford, Conn.-based company.

Fujifilm said its full line of DryPix imagers for both centralized and decentralized environments are included in the contract, as well as the spectrum of medical imaging films including double emulsion, dry laser, dry thermal, mammography and others.

The new agreement adds to the CR and DR contracts already in place between Fujifilm and Premier.
