GE, Novation ink imaging technology contract
GE Healthcare reported that it has signed an agreement with healthcare contracting services company Novation for GE’s radiology and cardiology image and information management technologies. 

Under the terms of the three-year agreement, which takes effect Oct. 1, 2007, GE will provide VHA, University Health Consortium and Provista members with clinical technologies and services that will help simplify workflow, enhance diagnostic certainty and improve outcomes, according to GE.

Specifically, GE will license its Centricity RIS-IC, Centricity Radiology PACS, Centricity CVIS and Centricity Cardiology PACS as part of the agreement.
