The Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, Ill, has recently deployed two of Carestream Health's DRX-Evolution systems for its emergency department and outpatient imaging center.

The hospital chose Carestreams’ digital radiology system due to its design, including its wireless detector in the six-axis wall stand and removable table, as well as its reduced data entry application for technologists. The images also can be secured over a wireless network, said Rochester, N.Y.-based Carestream.

The hospital also installed Carestream's applications to convert four general radiology rooms from CR to DR, said the company.
