IMVs SmartTrak survey of PET/CT and PET users has named GE Healthcare the top-ranked company for overall manufacturer performance, top-ranked for system performance, and top-ranked for overall OEM service performance. The study was conducted by IMV, an independent marketing research firm specializing in medical imaging. GE was listed as number one in each of the six ratings, including:  system performance meets expectations, ability to provide expected image quality, reliability of hardware, reliability of software, system throughput and system ease of use. In the detailed rankings comparing PET/CT and PET overall manufacturer performance, GE was listed as number one in five of the six ratings, including: overall satisfaction with the manufacturer, effectiveness in resolving any problems, probability of purchasing again from manufacturer, fair value of replacement parts and ability to upgrade technology, according to the IMV survey.
