Industry round-up: Eclipsys, Quest
Eclipsys Corporation announced that Bethesda Memorial Hospital, Boynton Beach, Fla., has selected Eclipsys' Sunrise Critical Care solution to help improve patient-care outcomes.  Sunrise Critical Care will help provide clinicians and other key staff with immediate and simultaneous access to patient information and advanced documentation, order entry, and content to support care for patients in the hospital's critical care units.


Quest International, a distributor and authorized service center for Totoku medical displays, said that Totoku has achieved new ISO 13485:2003, medical device certification. This certification covers the design, development, manufacturing and service of medical image display systems for use in modalities and PACS.

Quest, an ISO 9001:2000 registered company, supported Totoku throughout this certification process. “In addition to Totoku being ISO 9001 Registered, we’re pleased to see Totoku implement ISO 13485, a quality management standard for medical devices that will specifically provide enhanced reliability of products for medical institutions worldwide,” said Bill Greenblatt, VP of sales and marketing, Quest.
