Lionville demos iPoint carts
Lionville demonstrated at HIMSS07 in New Orleans last week its iPoint point-of-care carts with two different models developed for mobile computing and barcode medication administration. The carts come with different storage configurations for one to four tiers of storage or patient drawers.

Both models feature flexible technology capabilities designed to support a variety of hardware options including thin or thick client, laptop, and all-in-one computers. Long-life power solutions are also available to meet the requirements of every technology platform, the company said.

The carts can function as mobile computer workstations or as a combination workstation with medication cart security features such as keyless entry, automated relocking, individual patient drawers, and a patented locking system that assures that drawers that look locked are locked.

iPoint options include unobstructed workspace, ergonomic work height adjustment, articulating keyboard trays with two-way mouse pads, multi-pivot computer arms with VESA adaptors or four different laptop security tray options, highly maneuverable twin-wheel casters, and a variety of storage bins, brackets and other accessories, the company said.
