McKesson has ranked in the top three for 16 just-released KLAS categories. Paragon and Horizon Medical Imaging both received No. 1 rankings in their respective categories of the community hospital segment, earning them the "Category Leader" designation. Paragon received a No. 1 ranking in the community hospital information system category, and Horizon Medical Imaging was the category leader for community clinical solutions and community PACS. Other McKesson category leaders include EC2000 Claims Administrator in claims management, Horizon Homecare in hospice, and the combination of Pathways Financial Management/Pathways Materials Management for ERP, the company said.

Other highly rated McKesson systems in the KLAS mid-year report included the combination of Horizon Expert Orders/Horizon Expert Documentation in the Acute Care CDR, Orders & Charting category. McKesson's clinical decision support and care team documentation products were ranked second in their list category, with 96 percent of respondents indicating they would buy the products again. Horizon Medical Imaging was ranked No. 3 in the PACS category for general market solutions, with 95 percent of respondents indicating they would buy again and 97 percent indicating they would recommend it to a peer.
