Merge Healthcare receives additional NASDAQ notification
Merge Technologies, part of Merge Healthcare, has received a written notification from the NASDAQ Stock Market on Nov. 13, stating that its failure to timely file its quarterly report on Form 10-Q for the quarter (end-Sep. 30) would serve as an additional basis for delisting the company’s common stock from NASDAQ.

Merge said it expected to receive the current NASDAQ notification in addition to prior NASDAQ notifications that the common stock was subject to delisting because it did not timely file its quarterly report on Form 10-Q for the quarter ended June 30.

The company expects that it will meet the deadlines set by the NASDAQ Listing Qualifications Panel and currently expects to file on or before Dec. 31:  its restated audited financial statements for the years ended Dec. 31, 2004, 2005 and 2006, as well as other restated financial information previously included in the annual report on Form 10-K for the year ended Dec. 31, 2006; its restated unaudited financial statements included in its quarterly report on Form 10-Q for the quarter ended March 31; and its unaudited quarterly reports on Form 10-Q for the quarters ended June 30 and Sept. 30.
