Bryan Medical Center has purchased 13 Carestream DRX-1 Systems and two Carestream DRX-Mobile Retrofit Kits to streamline workflow and enhance patient care at the system’s hospital and its two outpatient imaging centers.

The Lincoln, Neb.-based healthcare facilities conduct more than 155,000 medical imaging exams a year.

When installation is complete, 90 percent of these facilities’ x-ray exams will be captured on Carestream Health’s DR systems. The healthcare system plans to install several additional DR systems in 2013 to complete its conversion.
