Neurognostics notches fMRI sale
Medical imaging development firm Neurognostics of Milwaukee said it has signed an agreement with Steven Porter, Psy.D, and Tracey Henley, Psy.D, of Psychological and Neurobehavioral Services, for the purchase and installation of the company’s MindState fDAD Functional MR Imaging (fMRI) suite of products and services. The firm will also be creating a paradigm-specific normative fMRI database for improved central nervous system disorder and treatment.

The Lakeland, Fla.-based practice will be working with Neurognostics to create a functional imaging database of healthy individuals in order to gain clinical insights into the functionality differences of patients with neurodegenerative or neuropsychological disorders such as Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's, dementia and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
