Medical imaging and informatics systems developer NovaRad announced that it has released the latest iteration of its NovaRIS product, version 6.2. The American Forks, Utah-based company said the system was developed on the same platform as its NovaPACS product.

NovaRIS 6.2 features the capability to filter workflow by modality and launch dictation from workflow in addition to containing specialized worklists and reports for stalled or cancelled procedures, NovaRad said. The application also features automated distribution of reports through email, phone, or fax with receipt verification; user-customizable menus; electronic signature capabilities for radiologists; and audit trail; a workflow tracker; and integration with NovaPACS or other third-party PACS or hospital information system (HIS).

The system is available now, according to NovaRad.
