Numa enhances cross-vendor data translation tool
Numa unveiled enhancements to NumaLink, its cross-vendor data translation tool.
New in NumaLink are DICOM translation capabilities for a full range of proprietary PET data sets. These include data from the Siemens CTI and all GE PET acquisition devices. Additionally, NumaLink also will convert non-standard PET DICOM data into a format compatible across most major vendors.
“As a growing number of sites upgrade from a legacy PET to PET/CT, the need to migrate PET data is greater than ever before,” commented Lawrence Smith president of Numa. “NumaLink enables this translation to provide data sharing among otherwise incompatible sources.”
NumaLink enables non-DICOM capable systems to communicate DICOM devices, bridging the gap between radiology and nuclear medicine.
