Siemens Medical Solutions inked an alliance with Access E-forms that will provide healthcare organizations currently using Siemens Soarian HIM and Enterprise Document Management systems with new automated forms management capabilities. Forms management is the ability to convert paper forms to online, electronic forms and the ability to generate forms on an ad hoc basis or automatically based on hospital-defined criteria.
VirtualScopics signed two, 24-month contracts totaling $1.4 million for two Phase II/III cancer studies of the vascular disruptive agent MN-029 with MediciNova, a San Diego-based pharmaceutical company. These studies include both standard CT tumor imaging and dynamic contrast enhanced MRI (DCE-MRI). VirtualScopics has performance two earlier Phase I trials of the same compound.
