RadiSys has introduced a new Procelerant Quad-core embedded server, which incorporates Intel’s Quad-core Xeon processors.

The Hillsboro, Ore.-based Radisys said the new server was designed for medical imaging, test, measurement and digital signal processing applications, because it supports image processing at a high resolution.
