Richardson Electronics announced the availability of a line of versatile and cost-effective liquid crystal displays (LCDs) from Image Systems. The medically-certified LCDs are available in 15-inch-, 17-inch-, and 19-inch-models with several customization options, including touchscreens and protective shields.

"Our strength as a display integrator, coupled with our expertise in the healthcare display market, puts us in the perfect position to provide enhanced patient monitoring display solutions,” said Jeana Schneck, senior medical product manager for Richardson Electronics’ healthcare group.

Richardson Electronics also announced the release of Revision G9 of the Image Systems Calibration Feedback System (CFS) software package. Revision G9 saves total calibration time by allowing simultaneous calibration on multiple displays, when configured as multi-head systems. Other improvements to CFS in Revision G9 include displaying the status of processes in action and additional backlight monitoring functionality.

CFS ships with every Image System’s display bundle and is specifically designed to simplify the calibration and configuration of medical imaging monitors. CFS has a built-in scheduler, allowing testing to occur on off-hours. All events are recorded, providing a verifiable record of compliance testing.
