Royal Philips Electronics appointed Steve Rusckowski as CEO of its Medical Systems division. The change will go into effect Nov. 1. Rusckowski succeeds Jouko Karvinen, who is departing to become CEO of Finland-based paper and packing company Stora Enso Oyj. Rusckowski has been leading the company’s Global Imaging Systems group, a part of the Medical Systems business. Previously, Rusckowski served as general manager of Agilent’s Healthcare Solutions, which was acquired by Philips in 2001.
