CT introductions include IMR (Iterative Model Reconstruction), which is designed to provide noise-free image quality and low-contrast imaging. iPatient enables iterative reconstruction and high image quality at low dose and facilitates advanced procedures. iDose4 Premium Package includes an iterative reconstruction technique and O-MAR metal artifact reduction for large orthopedic implants.
Philips is introducing Unsubtracted Roadmap for its Xper angiography system. The feature seeks to reduce subtracted artifacts caused by patients’ breathing and movements.
The company is showing its next-generation Ingenia MR-OR for intra-operative neurosurgery and offering dStream broadband technology for its installed base of MR systems. dStream features signal digitization in the coil on the patient.
Ingenuity TF PET/CT with Astonish TF time-of-flight performance delivers spatial resolution to measure lesions at less than 2 mm and includes iDose4 and O-MAR metal artifact reduction. The system is available in 64- and 128-slice configurations.
The 2012 release of iU22 xMatrix ultrasound incorporates Auto Doppler, Vascular Plaque Quantification and Fetal Heart Navigator.
IntelliSpace PACS Anywhere, a work-in-progress, is an image and report viewer. Philips said it focused on mobile device compatibility and zero footprint installation in its design. The company also is sharing updates to IntelliSpace PACS 4.4, including Mammography 4.4 to enable mammography reading with PACS workflow and PACS Federation to allow users to view other IntelliSpace PACS archives or access disparate PACS.
Philips MicroDose Mammography SI includes Single-Shot Spectral Imaging, which provides spectral breast density measurements for risk assessments in the same exam as the mammogram. (The system is not for sale in the U.S.) IntelliSpace Breast mammography workstation integrates multi-vendor mammography, ultrasound and MRI exams.
