Belfast Merger, a wholly owned subsidiary of Siemens, reported that it has extended the expiration date for its cash tender offer for all outstanding shares of common stock of Dade Behring Holdings.

The tender offer has been extended to midnight, eastern daylight time, on Sept. 26.

The merger and acquisition of Dade Behring, a clinical sciences company, by the Malvern, Pa.-based Siemens Medical Solutions was announced in July.
