Siemens introduces analyzer for diabetes patient management
Siemens Healthcare launches the DCA Vantage Analyzer, a point-of-care diabetes patient management platform reporting glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c), microalbumin/creatinine and albumin-to-creatinine results for diabetes management.
The DCA Vantage Analyzer is used for monitoring a patient's glycemic control and helps physicians to encourage patient compliance by delivering actionable test results during a patient visit, Siemens said.
The system delivers the required at the point-of-care with no sample or reagent preparation steps. The analyzer is both CLIA waived and NGSP certified for HbA1C tests.
