Swearingen Software plans to launch next-generation RIS
Houston, Texas-based Swearingen Software at SIIM 2007 in Providence, R.I, June 7-10, talked about upcoming product releases. This fall they plan to launch their next-generation RIS, which is currently being test marketed.
Introduced last year, RISynergy RIS solution connects seamlessly to any PACS, voice recognition system, and HIS system. It features fully integrated PACS/RIS; full internal billing software; voice recognition; ACR-accredited mammography package; and inventory and equipment maintenance tracking.
The DICOM Worklist Manager is a new feature that allows communication between the RIS and facility modalities, such as CT, MRI or x-ray machines. The DICOM Worklist Manager closes the gap between the modalities and the RIS, enhancing the system's ability to manage the daily workflow.
