TeraRecon has released its first book of clinical case studies featuring 3D imaging - Clinical Case Studies in the Third Dimension. The book covers topics including cardiac, cardiovascular, cerebrovascular imaging, enterprisewide volumetric image review, CT colonography, and other topics, the company said.

Clinical Case Studies in the Third Dimension features 27 clinical case studies covering a wide variety of topics involving the application of the company's technology, and demonstrating how advanced 3D imaging can be applied today in diagnostic and therapy planning applications. Several of the case study articles discuss the practical integration of advanced 3D imaging into department- and enterprise-wide medical imaging workflow.
